Shipping policy

 All orders are being shipped from Ottawa, Ontario using Canada Post. Due to the pandemic, there is a delay in delivery that is beyond our control. Once the items are in the care of the mail service, Hats for Life Designs no longer has control of them. Your order will still arrive, but will take a bit longer than usual to get there. Please be patient and account for the additional time delay if you are ordering items meant as a gift or for a specific date.

Products are kept in sealed containers and zip top bags. Additional precautions have been taken for safety due to the pandemic. While these precautions have been taken, once the items have shipped, it may pick up something on its journey. It is therefore recommended the outer packaging be disinfected prior to entering your home as well as washing your hands prior to removing the products to prevent any possible transfer.

 

When will I get my order?
Orders sent as an Expedited parcel with Canada Post can expect delivery 2 to 4 business days (Monday to Friday) during normal shipping times. Due to Covid-19, anticipate a delay of 1 week for delivery and plan accordingly if the item being ordered are gifts for an specific date. 

Christmas orders should be placed no later than December 7 to ensure delivery prior to Christmas.

Holidays Observed

All orders submitted during the following Holidays will be processed on the following business day unless otherwise stated:

New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday (August), Labour Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day.

What and where are you shipping?
Items ready to ship are available for purchase from the online store. Orders are being shipped to Canadian addresses only at this time.
